Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is Valve’s competitive first-person shooter and a continuation of the Counter-Strike series. Players join online servers to play team-based matches—most commonly 5v5 bomb defusal—where tactics, teamwork, and gunplay determine the winner across short, round-based games. In addition to official matchmaking, community servers can host custom rules and different game modes.
